Morgan & Andrew: SMUS & Uplands Wedding

From the moment I met Morgan, I knew her wedding would be fabulous. Besides being stunningly gorgeous, she is fun, genuine and uplifting to be around. Andrew is a perfect match for her and it’s clear they adore each other. Morgan and Andrew were married at St. Michael’s University, where she graduated high school. The campus was pretty in its fall colours on a perfect fall day. They chose Old Hollywood Glamour as their theme, and as you will see, it could not have worked out better.

Morgan spent time watching America’s Next Top Model so she would know how to pose for her bridal portraits. Tyra should watch her back because Morgan was amazing to work with and knew exactly what to do.

A quiet moment with their sweet little boy.

By chance, as we walked past this vent, I noticed it blow up  the edge of Morgan’s gown. How could we not take advantage of this opportunity? Morgan didn’t hesitate to play it up and have fun with the Marilyn Monroe moment.
You are just too cute together!
Sadly, the florist used the wrong flowers in the bouquets, the very ones Morgan said she did not want. Not to be phased by it, she grabbed the balloon bouquet used to let her guests know where the ceremony was and made the most of it.
She wore her grandmother’s fox fur coat from the 1930′s. Perfect for the old Hollywood theme.
After SMUS, we went to the top of Mount Tolmie.
The reception was held at the Uplands Golf Course, where Andrew loves to play. The decor was spectacular, provided by Designer Weddings and Special Occasion Rentals. This was the first time I have worked with the lovely ladies of By Design Wedding and Event Custom Creations. They spent hours putting up the decor and staying late to take it down. They were invaluable in planning  the day and keeping it organized. They were amazing to work with and I hope I get to again in the future. Morgan’s mom made this incredible cake.

This was a truly incredible day. Thank you Morgan and Andrew for inviting me to be a part of it. You were a joy to work with and I wish you all the best.
