University of Victoria Wedding: Lisa & Craig

Lisa’s day started at the Delta Ocean Point Resort where she got ready with her best friends. She looked gorgeous in her amazing dress from Carly’s Bridal. Hair was done by Lindsay Sinclair and makeup by Jen Clark.

The ceremony was held  on the patio at the University Club at UVic with the stunning gardens as a backdrop. The decor was coordinated by Details Special Event Planning and Decor. The groomsmen untied the ribbon on their way up the aisle just before Lisa’s entrance. Craig was nervous, as is every groom at that moment. I love to see their expressions change as they see their bride to be for the first time that day; their smiles tell exactly how they felt at seeing each other. It was a windy day! It gave us a lot of opportunity to show off Lisa’s veil. After a few family photos, we went to Cattle Point for the bride and groom portraits. Bouquets were done by Flowers by Tarra.  We then went down to China Town for some playful shots. This group was among some of the nicest people I’ve had to work with and they just wanted to have fun. We made use of both Dragon Alley and Fantan Alley, and maybe “borrowed” a few items here and there along the way. I loved that Lisa also brought along some balloons. The reception was back at the University Club. The  atmosphere was fun, friends and family. Congratulations, Lisa & Craig! Thank you so much for having me as part of your wedding day.
